Michele Gustin
President // Co-Founder // WBENC
Multi-talented and multifaceted, Michele Gustin is the resident style maven and unmistakable “stabilizing force” of the Fig Media Collective. For decades, she’s been a behind-the-scenes force of nature, serving as producer, advisor and discerning eye for all of Fig’s award-winning projects. As the Tina Fey/Liz Lemon of the Fig tribe, Michele oversees all projects and mentors the newbies. Operationally, she drives a hard line between the logistical need to “nail it on budget and on timeline” and the well-known Fig spirit of adventure.
Our Rock-Solid Strategist
Michele has 8+ years of formal training in painting and printmaking. She received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, where she made the Dean’s List, and she’s participated in renowned solo and group shows for her paintings such as the Houston Area Exhibition, with noted juror Andreas Serrano. Michele has also nabbed numerous career accolades, including being named to The List of style mavens in Michigan Avenue Magazine. A proud mother and the spouse of Fig’s other co-founder, James Gustin, Michele is committed to the mindful concept of “Advaita Vedanta” (meaning “all is one”) and believes that life is an artistic practice.
