OUR FILMS

WE CAN'T WAIT

In our film, We Can’t Wait, we focus on the urgency of the Shriver mission in our time while inspiring others to join the cause. We explore why "We can't wait to create a more just and equitable society," through interviews and storytelling. The Shriver Center's focus on social justice and systemic change are highlighted by four individual stories. This organization is a group that can and will change systems in our nation, create equality and together helps end poverty through advocacy work that empowers communities. This group of lawyers and community members are on the front lines of the work every day and will inspire you to see poverty and equality as a solvable problem.

Director Statement

"I am so proud of the non-profit work we do at fig media, it is where I have dedicated my career. We Can't Wait and Alex, Engineer is a shining example of the everyday people, organizations and stories that create positive change in our city.

As woman who grew up on the South Side of Chicago and was witness to the challenges that our communities face, I decided that my talents would be best served in our city. You won’t find my films on Netflix (yet) but you will find them being used to lobby for change in our capital, in board meetings to raise money, at events to raise awareness and in communities to celebrate the hard work that goes into creating real change.

It is an honor to be included in the festival and I could not have done it without my dedicated team and mentors at fig media to support me and our amazing clients who put their faith in us to tell their stories and share their mission."

Our current roster for 2019 Non-Profit films only has a few slots left, we are currently booking projects for 2020. If you are interested in a collaboration or commissioning a film with our team click through to the form below and let’s chat!
