“About a year ago, I sat down with DJ Dani Deahl to learn about her, her business, and her music. She is an awesome DJ and woman, and always has a plate full of projects. She recently connected me to the owners at the Dana Hotel’s Vertigo Sky Lounge. Vertigo is a sexy lounge, sitting on the 26th floor of the Dana, with an amazing unique view of the city. The lounge also has an outdoor terrace complete with fire-pit heaters. It is designed to feel like you are going over to a guy friend’s loft, with a chill atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, and a killer music collection.” ~ Megan Taylor.
Vertigo’s DJ line-up consists of all female DJs: Dani Deahl, Sadie Woods, Diskokitty, Megan Taylor. The vibe is everything from classic rock to modern, with an electro edge.

“It was a cold day. We convinced the bridal party to take photos outside- if they could wear their coats. The result are some beautiful photos- but not without some chattering teeth. They had a large bridal party- 7 people on each side.We started with Erin and Erik seeing each other for the first time in front of their place. We went over to the LaSalle St. Bridge, just outside of Fulton’s on the River for a “Reservoir Dogs” shot. The ceremony was held at Old St. Pat’s Cathedral. Just before the bride went into the church I captured her with the a Sears Tower backdrop, as Tim was with the guys waiting in the back room of the church. Fulton’s was the setting for the reception where fig’s DJ Erik entertained the crowd with a mix of music. At the end of the night we got Erin and Erik back on the bridge for one last photo opp.” ~ Brian Carey
