Fig's team of James Gustin and Brian Carey photographed and creative directed the "Food Feature" editorial in the May-June 2016 edition of Sophisticated Living Magazine Chicago. We photographed a combination of food, drink, interiors, nightlife, and portraits for the newly upscale Chicago (West Town) restaurant and botanic brewery of Forbidden Root.

Everything that Chef Dan brought out for us to capture... from the Gochugaru Chili Popcorn to the Schnitzel Sammy to the Pecan Pie, was amazing. Director of Operations Terry Kane and Forbidden Root's botanical crew exceed all expectations in food, drink, and atmosphere.
